The Charity Golf Classic began in 2000 with a goal to raise funds for charities supported by Realogy Corporation and PHH Mortgage. Over the past eight years, this event has contributed more than $3.3 million to the selected charities. This year the Golf Classic is proud to announce that we will continue to support eight charities receiving the net proceeds. The 2008 charities are:

  • American Cancer Society
  • Big Brothers Big Sisters
  • Easter Seals
  • Food Bank of South Jersey
  • Habitat for Humanity
  • Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
  • Muscular Dystrophy Association
  • Samaritan Hospice

The 2008 event will be held for the sixth consecutive year at the magnificent Seaview Marriott Resort and Spa. The Seaview Resort is set amid 670 acres of pristine woodlands along the southern New Jersey shoreline—just minutes away from Atlantic City. The Seaview’s two courses, the Bay Course and the Pines Course, have received national recognition including Golf Magazine’s Silver Medal Award, Golf Digest’s Four-Star Places to Play Award, and the Apex Award from the National Association of Golf Tournament Directors.

Combining the gracious atmosphere of a historic landmark with all the amenities of a first-class resort, the award-winning Seaview Marriott boasts lavish accommodations in a Victorian-era 297-room luxury hotel. The resort features a full-service Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa, the Nick Faldo Golf Institute, six all-weather tennis courts, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a health club and saunas.

The Charity Golf Classic has consistently delivered big talent to the event. This year is no exception; participants will play alongside Hale Irwin, Kevin Hall and Suzy Whaley.
